Babysitting my granddaughter and going to a Farmer's Market brought me great joy this week. I also enjoyed my weekly bowling more, since my extra practice has improved my games. It also brought me joy to hear fabulous poetry at the RWC and be inspired to write more often.

How cool! Some things that made me happy this week were seeing old friends, Disney Codenames (a game), tai chi at Taylor Mountain, good conversations with the kid, and watching Schmigadoon and Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Oh also my parents bought me this laptop I'm writing on! Life changing! I was doing everything on my phone except for my Jenny K. work since I have a work laptop for them.

WALKING!!! Since I walk Rumi to school every day and I’m looking to burn off a few more calories… I wondered how much more calories I could burn if I jogged those 2 miles. None. Walking a mile or jogging a mile burns about the same amount of calories! So I’ll keep walking.

Which Ram Dass podcasts are you listening to? I’m curious about his books.

The Ram Dass podcast is "Be Here Now." I recommend the book by the same name. It's excellent, and it affected me even before I was ready to absorb Ram Dass's teachings.

And walking! FTW! I used to run, and when I see people running, there's this longing in me that wishes I were with them. But I just don't have it in me anymore. Thankfully, walking does the same exact thing running does for the body, just slower. And with less energy. So walking is my superpower.
